Who is Aidan

Aidan was born in 1979 in Brescia where she lives and works. Trained in classic engraving techniques, she soon developed a passion for graphic design and multimedia. She experiments with different languages, reaching a high level of manipulation of matter.

Interesting experiments in boxes of the time take shape from the fascination for symbolism and the conceptual, where engraving technique and classic figurative imagery work with "cold" materials such as plexiglass, daring space-time overlaps and unusual stylistic dislocations. Consequent experimentation with the lenticular.

2010 sees her in Vienna at the Galerie Am Roten Hof. 2011 is the collective at the Rogue Space Chelsea in New York and the decisive turn towards a more properly pop and multimedia language. The first artist to work in augmented reality, she develops the story in the third dimension in real time, giving the works movement and the viewer the open and psychedelic language of dreams.

Among the institutional spaces we mention the group exhibitions at Palazzo Martinengo and at the Museo del Piccolo Miglio in Brescia. In 2013 her video Check point was selected in the PopRally: Abstract currents contest to be screened at the MoMA. In 2014, together with Kerry Kennedy at Palazzo Reale in Milan for I Have a Dream.
