To collectors

An important note

Over the past 15 years, technology has undergone profound transformations. The video formats used to create the augmented reality experiences embedded in these works — produced over a decade ago — may over time become incompatible with new technologies, making the smartphone interaction no longer possible.

To protect the integrity of your artwork and ensure that its living dimension is never lost, I invite you to contact me at info@aidangallery.com. I will personally send you the original video file to preserve alongside the physical work, and will ensure it remains accessible for private download.

Thank you for your trust and for believing in this work.

About

What is Augmented Reality

The fundamental concept is interactivity. Perception is enhanced by unreal objects that provide information about the real environment. With Augmented Reality you are not bound to the display on the screen, but any surface can become a support for displaying information.

This new "reality" allows you to live a new sensory experience. Through the smartphone camera, the dedicated page allows the interaction between the real image and the virtual image created by the artist. With the Kaleidos project, Aidan innovatively combines the classic line of drawing with the most advanced multimedia technology. The intent? Providing a contemporary and multimedia added value to the "classical" image using interactions that represent new avenues of contemporary art.
